Our Goal
As our outside sign says, “We welcome you!” Our goal is to inspire a love of lifelong learning and provide engaging activities where children gain independence and a strong sense of self. We view children as extremely capable individuals and strive to create classroom environments that are sensitive and nurturing to each child’s changing needs. Students learn through exploring, creating, engaging and experiencing in an enriched environment scaffolded by experienced teachers. We balance purposeful play with active, academic learning.
Located on six beautiful acres of woods and open spaces at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Great Falls, VA.
We promote spiritual and Christian growth through participation in regular chapel services.

We implement a theme-based curriculum using literature, art and music to foster communication, creativity and problem-solving skills in developmentally appropriate ways.
Outdoor Classroom
Our new Outdoor Classroom is open for play! This is a place where children can explore nature, walk across stumps and build with natural blocks/tree cookies. Studies suggest that direct exposure to nature is essential for a child’s healthy physical and emotional development.

The Outdoor Classroom is a place where children can immerse themselves in nature, observe insects, pretend play, and therefore improve their cooperation and problem-solving skills while having fun.
